Coco Star Sims is a Melbourne-born, multidisciplinary artist and tattooist whose work spans tattooing, illustration, zine-making, fashion design, and installation art. She is known for her vibrant, playful, and otherworldly style, blending surreal motifs with an intuitive sense of storytelling and colour.

She started tattooing as a teenager, experimenting with stick-and-poke techniques before developing her distinctive, freehand aesthetic. Her practice reflects curiosity about nature, perception, and fantasy worlds, often referencing sci-fi, fractals, gothic futurism, and even the hyper-colour vision of mantis shrimp.
