Suspended on a delicate chain, the compact's petite size allows it to discreetly hold a makeup powder or small, flat objects. The inside features a contrasting gilt decoration and red velvet inlay. Likely origin Europe circa 1800s.
Hallmarked Sterling to the rear of the case.
