Vintage Japanese Stacking Vessel
A beautifully minimal vintage (Mid-20th century (approx.) Japanese stacking box, sourced by our founder from the antique flea markets of Tokyo, Japan.
Its cylindrical form is topped with a sculptural bird finial, a subtle nod to freedom and tranquility.
The box opens to reveal two tiersâa textured inner tray and a lower compartment with wooden dividers, traditionally used for incense sticks, small keepsakes, or writing tools (Japanese stamps). Its aged patina and simple yet refined design speak to the understated elegance of Japanese craftsmanship.
