Vintage Evans Metal Mesh Compact Purse
Evans Case Company originated in the early 1800s when Colonel Obed Robinson started producing jewellery and buttons in Attleboro, MA.
This collectable serves as a dual-purpose accessory—both a compact (for makeup touch-ups) and a tiny evening purse.
While the front shows gold-tone metal mesh, which was highly fashionable in Art Deco and early mid-century design, the back features a guilloché-style engraved design with a diamond cartouche (often left plain or engraved with initials).
Inside, it has a mirror and powder compartment, with traces of pressed powder still visible on the puff.
Sizing: Fits Fluff Lip Oil or Cream Blush
