Antique Filigree Jewellery Box
A beautifully ornate filigree jewellery box, dating to around c. 1900, (Edwardian / Belle Époque period).
Measuring 6 inches in diameter, featuring a domed lid surrounded by grapevine motifs, with delicately detailed leaves and clusters of grapes symbolising abundance and celebration. The silver-tone metal is likely silver-plated brass with openwork filigree.
Inside, a rich, red velvet lining. Used for holding jewellery, trinkets, or keepsakes.
