Whiting & Davis, est. 1876, is a heritage luxury brand renowned for its iconic metal mesh handbags, a fabric created by the brand itself over 100 years ago. Blending timeless craftsmanship with modern elegance, this vintage piece comes housed in its original box.
In 1892 Mr. Whiting designed the first mesh bag, with all rings formed and joined by hand. By 1912 a machine was invented to automate the mesh making process.Β
